The Fila Alpha SynMesh is constructed for ventilation and strength, this synthetic leather upper is composed of ultra fine fibers that allow the foot to breathe in all conditions. Like the Dual-performance midsole, Cordley Leather is soft and supple right out of the box for immediate comfort without break in.
The Fila Alpha SynMesh also features functional lining for optimum climate control and moisture management. Dri-Lex is a dual layer hydrophobic polyester and hydrophilic nylon material that creates a 2-Zone, push-pull effect, to rapidly diffuse perspiration away from skin. Dri-Lex is not a treated fabric or fiber so the hydrophobic and hydrophilic features will not wear or wash out over the life of the Alfa.
The Alfas abrasion resistant medial toe wrap is coated with Durocera, a "liquid ceramic" treatment created from ceramic powder and PU resin. The treated material lasts up to 8 times longer than traditional synthetics in high abrasion areas. Alfas abrasion resistant wrap extends to the midfoot for added durability.
