Zylon 360 Technology
Zylon 360 is a high performance material, developed by Toyobo of Japan. Its light weight and high tensile strength contributes enhanced strength and stability, while retaining maneuverability.

Aerobeam
The world's most aerodynamic racquet + 15% air penetration thanks to the aerobeam technology.

Dual Woofer
With the latest Woofer design patented by Babolat, The Dual Woofer is designed to ensure optimum comfort for light racquets with oversized heads. Dual Woofer contains 68 "vibration dampeners" located all around the head. Two materials have been combined for their complementary functions:

1. Rigid material: ensures the strings' perfect skid upon impact with the ball.

2. Flexible material: captures vibrations before they propagate into the frame.

Advantages
Five times more shock-absorbing than a traditional bumper grommet! From now on, racquets with oversized heads are both powerful and comfortable. Dual Woofer will provide unparalleled comfort and excellent feel.

Carbon Nanotube
Five times more rigid than current carbon racquets molecular organization, as pure as that of a diamond, makes it the ideal material to use between the sweetspot and the handle.
High driving properties.

Advantages
Enhanced performance for the stabilizers between the sweetspot and handle thanks to this real concentration of power and purity. More power and feeling in real time.

Woofer Technology
The First Dynamic System Which Makes The Frame And The Strings Interact When Striking The Ball

A tennis racket is a frame with strings. The frame is basically static and holds the driving force of the racquet - the strings - in place. The strings are attached to both sides of the frame. Only some strings are active when struck by the ball. This means that racquets do not deliver their full potential. Babolat set out to imagine a racquet optimizing the frame and the strings - to invent a frame which permits all the strings to work together to their full potential when striking the ball.

Pulley Function
The WOOFER eliminates string lock-up: the strings are free to move. The whole surface area reacts on impact: with the WOOFER, more strings work together when striking the ball. The strings are interactive. This increases sweetspot size, improving forgiveness during off-center shots and absorbing much of the shock produced during ball impact.

Piston Function
Increase in the Trampoline Effect: The piston function enables greater surface deformation on impact, delivering 10% extra power and ensuring that the strings retain their energy for a longer time.

Shock Absorption
The pistons act like a suspension system to dampen unwanted vibration.

Hot Melt
Dunlop's revolutionary "Hot Melt" graphite manufacturing process uses a unique, heat-active, thermoplastic liquid wich produces a graphite skin that is layered over the whole racquet frame. When this is cookled, it cures to create intense fibre strenght and stiffness. The resultant is immensely strong, durable and responsive - producing 30% more "Heat Refined Power" than standard graphite racquets. Hot Melt Technology is used in the following Dunlop racquets: 200G, 200G XL, 300G, 300G OS, 400G, 600G, 700G.

I-Zone
The revolutionary new Impact Zone (I-Zone) is designed to produce more flex within zone of the raqcuet head. This is achieved by making strategic incisions into the side of the racquet head which reduces the beam width at several key points. This generates more flex, allowing the ball to sit on the strings a fraction longer during impact, enabling playersto generate more spin and control. I-ZONE Technology is used in the following Dunlop racquets: I-Zone 4

Isis Handle
Dunlop's ISIS Handle System dampens vibration, up to 30% of shock impact, for exceptional comfort and feel. ISIS Handle Technology is used in the following Dunlop racquets: 300G, 400G, 700G, 900G, Lady G, Super Revelation, Quadro.

Flexpoint
Flexpoint racquets feature two precisely-engineered control holes in the racquet's head. This creates a new point of flex, which cups the ball and improves control without losing power. The patented HEAD Flexpoint technology breaks the rules of traditional racquet design by not making racquets stiffer, but by engineering them to flex in a new and revolutionary way.

With a conventional racquet, the ball strikes the racquet at 90 degrees, but due to the racquet flexing it leaves the racquet at a different angle. A Flexpoint racquet is designed to cup the ball by flexing at the Flexpoints. The cupping effect reduces the angle at which the ball leaves the strings and promotes more accurate hitting. Flexpoint technology increases the dwell time and ball pocketing due to its cupping effect which increases feel and provides a larger sweetspot.

Flexpoints are made up of two complimentary features and are located at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions on the racquet head. Each Flexpoint features an engineered dimple to create flexibility by reducing the beam width by a maximum of 25%. Each Flexpoint also features a hole in the center of the dimple which reduces sectional stiffness by 50%.

Liquidmetal
Developed by the California Institute of Technology (CalTech), LiquidMetal® alloy provides 29% more power than Titanium. Just as its name implies, LiquidMetal® alloy is different from conventional materials because of its liquid (or "amorphous") atomic structure. This means that LiquidMetal® alloy does not deform on impact, resulting in ultimate energy return.

Head places LiquidMetal® at four strategic areas of the racquet's head, integrated in the main layer of the frame's construction. This allows all of the energy from ball impact to be used for a power return - so what a player puts into his or her swing is exactly what they get out. The result is what Head calls Pure Energy. Perfect Power™

Integrated String Dampener (ISD)
Affixed to the grommets at the base of the head, the (ISD) absorbs string vibration. Now even the most powerful racquet is easy on the arm and completely comfortable, no matter what style of play.

Totalsweetspot Construction
Total Sweetspot Construction increases torsional stability in the racquet head and extends the sweetspot throughout the entire racquet head, resulting in ultimate control.

Intellifiber

Feature
Intellifiber is a new fiber created from piezoelectric material. Extraordinarily different from conventional materials, this fiber (according to Head) transforms the mechanical energy from ball impact into an electrical response that stiffens the racquet for ultimate power. Intellifibers are integrated on both sides of the throat area. An electrical impulse actively changes the shape of the fibers - in less than a millisecond - at ball impact.

Benefit
According to Head, in less than the first millisecond of ball impact, Intellifibers stiffen and reduce bending in the throat area for unmatched power in current racquet design. Unlike mechanical energy, electrical energy does not create vibrations. Therefore, 20% of the vibrations are immediately eliminated upon ball impact for optimum comfort.

O-Port
By replacing traditional pin-sized string holes with revolutionary giant O-Ports, a super aerodynamic frame has been created with a more responsive stringbed. This increases the sweet spot by 54%, creating a Sweet Zone, which means you hit your best shots … more often. What’s truly impressive is that the Prince engineers are able to do this all without enlarging the racquet head, increasing its length, or adding weight!

Sweet Zone Engineering
O-Ports increase the conventional sweet spot by 54%, turning it into a Sweet Zone. This eliminates the dead zone of the racquet and allows you to hit more powerful serves, more consistent shots and return wide shots with authority.

Faster Swing Speeds
O-Ports reduce aerodynamic drag, producing a faster swing speed, enabling players to reach more balls and win more points, more often. A faster swing speed means increased power and maximum maneuverability.

Greater Stability
O3 engineered racquets are created through a one step fusion process that utilizes the strongest structure known to man, the Arch, creating the frame’s O-Ports. These O-Ports stabilize the racquet giving you more control on off-center shots.

Dynamic Braid
Carbon fibers are braided in the shaft area to provided a slightly softer flex and more comfortable feel

Cushion Grip System
This 3D molded TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber) handle absorbs 56% of the shock of ball impact allowing you to play your best tennis longer. It also is 8 inches long, ideal for today’s two handers.

Cross-bar Stabilizer
Prince’s Cross-Bar stabilizer, located in the throat of the racquet, increases the stability of the frame.

Triple Threat With Tungsten
Triple Threat with Tungsten places titanium, copper, carbon and tungsten in three critical racquet locations: 10 o'clock, 2 o'clock and at the bottom of the handle. A phenomenally stable racquet design is created, with a huge sweet spot for more power and precision than ever.

Air Handle
The Air handle has two air-filled independent suspension legs that reduce shock by 25%, providing ultimate comfort.

Double Bridge
Double Bridge technology is located at the top of the throat of the racquet and lessens frame vibration for more comfort.

Powerlock
PowerLock, a patented molding technique featured in all MORE Performance racquets, delivers 15% more structural rigidity for penetrating serves and unreturnable overhead smashes.

Air+ Comfort Handle
Air+ handle provides 50% more shock absorption for reduced fatigue and added comfort.

Direct Contact Suspension System
Only available in Prince's More Performance with S Series racquets, Direct Contact Suspension System has oval string channels and reinforcing PowerWedges to deliver maximum sweet spot for solid, all-court power.

Powerline
Lighter Frame. Quicker Game. A reinforced beam with grooves on the inside surface of the racquet frame increases frame strength while providing more power in a lighter weight racquet.

Ionic
LIonic technology delivers advancement to the famed Kinetic Technology adding a Jetron™ fill to the chambers. Jetron™ is a remarkable inelastic composition of ionizing carbon structures used as a coating for the Kinetic™ mass and chambers, creating a completely clean and unique feel of pure atomic energy.

The internal Kinetic™ mass contained an equal number of positive and negative charges, producing an electrically balanced environment under static (non-moving) conditions.  When friction (through movement) is introduced, the tiny Kinetic™ mass elements as well as the capsule material became electrostatically charged.  The electrostatic charges exerted a tremendous force (like strong magnets) on any nearby material or objects, resulting in the clinging or repelling of the Kinetic mass particles to each other and to the capsule walls (fig.1). This electro static condition inhibited the full potential of the Kinetic™ system.

Our Scientists knew that a solution to the electrostatic charge inherent in the “machine” would effectively deliver a turbo-boost to a system that already out-performs the industry.     Ionics™ by ProKennex delivers the breakthrough in Kinetic™ science through a process using static eliminators (called ionizers) that neutralizes electro static charges. These anti-shock ionizers are electrically powered to produce a bulk of positive and negative ions. The charged surface attracts the appropriate number of positive and negative ions from the ionizer to become neutral.

Result
Complete freedom of movement within the chambers, unlocking up to 56% more efficiency to
the Kinetic™ system  (fig. 2).

Kinetic
It’s all about kinetic energy. As you swing the Kinetic™ racquet forward, tiny elements of kinetic mass, housed in dozens of chambers around the racquet head, are storing energy. (Fig. 1)

When the ball hits the strings, the strings flex and the ball compresses. The ball speed drops to zero. The ball and strings are now loaded with energy. (Fig. 2)

Finally, the racquet frame flexes backward as your swing continues. Going with the flow, the ball assumes the racquet’s forward speed. (Fig. 3)

Forces are now in place to set off a scientifically calculated Kinetic™ reaction. The ball and strings now start releasing their stored energy causing the ball to go faster than the racquet. At this moment, the energy release from the ball and strings triggers the kinetic mass. It explodes forward in all 100 chambers. This activated mass joins with the mass of the racquet to increase the area of efficiency of the hitting surface and magnify the possibilities of a good shot.

Area Of Efficiency
Modern tennis moves so fast that even the pros have little time to set up. The Kinetic™ System increases your odds for great contact by freeing you from the tyranny of the sweet spot. When the Kinetic™ chambers release their stored energy it gives this energy to the racquet. This new momentum stabilizes the entire hitting surface. Your shot is more precise even if you hit the ball off-center.

Active Damping System
You know your arm feels after you’ve hit the ball?
That ripple of vibration?
The Kinetic™ System virtually eliminates this sensation. Once the ball leaves the strings, the tiny elements of kinetic mass actively damp this now-useless energy. This vibration is absorbed as it attempts to work its way through layers of active kinetic mass. The vibration energy is efficiently quieted. You’ll notice a huge reduction in wear and tear on your body and an increase in the efficiency as a player.

Core1
When you strike a ball with a Core1 racquet each of the independent graphite cylinders creates a separate, opposing shock wave. When the two opposing shock waves meet at the wood spine they counteract and cancel out each other, eliminating the harsh negative impact shock and vibration. The wood spine then transmits only the remaining clean, responsive, organic feel in your hand.

It's lightweight power with feel.

The Result
The player feels the ball on the strings because much of the disruptive initial shock is eliminated while the wood shapes the vibrations into information a player can use.

Benefits
Better feel of the ball on the strings, more focused energy transfer, better control, easier on the body.

Precision Enginereed
Designed and manufactured with exacting specifications for competition players with a keen recognition that an accomplished tournament player requires minimal tolerance in manufacturing, design and engineering specifications.

ProKennex offers a “one at a time” manufacturing technique that ensures the most narrow variance possible between frames. Heritage racquets will appeal to players with advanced game styles and who put a premium on precision versus technology.

Catapult Technology
1. Pre-Load - Activating the Catapult: The Catapult is a spring freely mounted onto the frame and is pre-loaded during the stringing process.

2. Control Phase - Receive Time: As the ball hits the string bed, the Catapult spring compresses and energizes or "loads" the catapult, thus creating a deeper string bed pocket. The increase in receive time (the Control Phase) results in 30% more control and a larger sweetspot.

3. Power Phase - Release Time: The explosive resetting of the Catapult shortens the release time (the Power Phase) by 30%, delivering more power. Power is further enhanced because the ball compresses less and retains more of its own energy.

Power Big Grommet
According to Volkl, the funnel-shaped molded Big Grommets integrated into the frame give the maximum sweetspot size, ensuring the greatest possible power and comfort.

Classic Big Grommet
Funnel-shaped grommets allow the strings to move more freely. The result is a significant improvement in precision and control on off-center hits. Ideal for players with slower more compact strokes.

Vibration Control Handle
The Vibration Control Handle features an EVA (Ethyl Vinyl Acetate) sheath surrounding the handle of the racquet shaft. Designed to help dampen vibration and provide some added protection for arm muscles and joints, this is visible technology you can actually see through the butt cap of the racquet.

Sensor Handle System
Includes a two part racquet shaft and TechnoGel surrounded by EVA (Ethyl Vinyl Acetate). This is visible technology you can actually see through the butt cap of the racquet. Designed to dampen vibration without sacrificing touch, playtests seem to verify that the Sensor Handle System does contribute to a more comfortable and forgiving feel.

Sensor Tour Handle System
Includes a two part racquet shaft and TechnoGel surrounded by EVA (Ethyl Vinyl Acetate). This is visible technology you can actually see through the butt cap of the racquet. Designed to dampen vibration without sacrificing touch, playtests seem to verify that the Sensor Handle System does contribute to a more comfortable and forgiving feel.

3D Power Max Frame
This frame technology increases stiffness along the entire length of the racquet. The cross-section shape varies along the racquet beam, yet the circumference of the cross-section remains constant. This keeps the racquet light weight and maneuverable without sacrificing torsional stability.

There are 3 key cross-sections along the length of the racquet. These comprise 3D Power Max Frame Technology and each maintains a specific purpose:

1. The rectangular cross-section at the tip of the racquet head: this increases stiffness and adds power.

2. The kidney-shaped central cross-section: this provides a deeper string pocket upon ball impact - a feature designed to increase feel and touch.

3. The oval cross-section in the throat: promotes torsional stability.

Dynamic Pcp - Power Control Pattern
According to Volkl, the dense string pattern in the racquet's sweetspot ensures that power is controllable. Balls hit outside the sweetspot maintain optimal power and comfort thanks to the more open string bed.

Twin Absorber
This dampening system, especially developed for tournament racquets, is comprised of a two part racquet shaft injected with an integral foam. The result is a reduction of torsional shock by 60% and vibration by 40%.

DNX
DNX is a new unique material structure featuring high-strength micro tube construction that is 25 times stronger than regular carbon fibers. DNX is an entirely new material class whose properties represent the fourth dimension of carbon. DNX has strength characteristics that have never been reached before, a true break-through in material development, now exclusively available in the new DNX Racquet Series by Volkl Tennis.

Hyper Carbon
Hyper Carbon is a space age material used primarily by the aerospace industry in the construction of satellites and state of the art airplanes. As defined by Wilson, Hyper Carbon is......"the first Ultra High Modulus graphite ever used in tennis racquets." Hyper Carbon is claimed to be 4 time stronger, 4 times stiffer and 65% lighter than titanium.

Hammer Technology
Hammer technology maintains the majority of racquet mass, or weight, in the head of the frame (head heavy balance), with the intention of increasing stability and power. In turn, weight is reduced in the shaft and handle, providing for a higher and larger sweetspot, or Center of Percussion (COP).

Pro Staff
A style of racquet with a lower Center of Percussion (COP), or sweetspot, that maintains more weight in the handle section than head (head light balance). ProStaff racquets are best known as control oriented "players" racquets. Opposite of head heavy (Hammer) balanced frames.

Stretch
A term meaning any Wilson racquet longer than the standard 27inch length.Stretch racquets provide more power (leverage), extend reach, and providebetter angles when serving.

Iso-zorb Grommets
Iso-Zorb is an exclusive Wilson polymer similar to the material used in skyscraper foundations to absorb the shock of an earthquake. The grommets in the Hyper Hammer 2.7, 4.0 and 6.2 are engineered from this material. According to Wilson, vibration is reduced by 30% for increased playing comfort.

Iso-grid
The new Series H racquets combine the heritage of Hammer and Hyper Carbon with a breakthrough construction technology called IsoGrid. IsoGrid creates a matrix of carbon fibers within the walls of the frame to produce phenomenal strength.

Series H racquets establish a new standard of stability in racquet design - a full 10% more stable than competitive models. They feel rock solid. They explode with power. Ask Lindsay Davenport Todd Martin and Justine Henin. They are already Series H believers.

nCode
When a racquet is nCoded nano-sized silicone oxide crystals permeate the voids between the carbon fibers. This adjustment made at the molecular level significantly strengthens and enhances the stability of the overall carbon matrix. Stronger and even more resilient nCoded racquets play better longer.

nCoded racquets measure 2 times stronger 2 times more stable and up to 22% more powerful than ordinary racquets.

MP - Muscle Power
All Muscle Power (MP) racquets have Muscle Power Technology integrated throughout the entire grommets system, producing maximum durability and power with more frame stability. The Muscle Power system "rounds the corners" of each grommet, offering the dual benefit of extra frame durability while reducing string vibration for a more solid feel on impact.

UTI - Ultimum TI
A technology that incorporates, according to Yonex, a super high-energy transfer into the shaft. Yonex describes Ultimum TI as a "power condenser", storing the maximum amount of impact energy.

Triangular Cross Section
Triangular Cross Section A Triangular Cross Section provides power and frame stability for more consistent control and response

ISO - Isometric Square Head Shape
This exclusive Yonex innovation results in a sweet spot up to 48% larger than a traditional oval head shape. According to Yonex, it ensures more power and control with fewer off-center shots.

IPS System
By inserting extra weight at the three and nine o'clock positions, a greater "moment of inertia" is created on the face of the frame, reducing torque (twisting) and increasing overall frame stability.

Yonex Long
A term meaning any Yonex racquet longer than the standard 27inch length. Stretch racquets provide more power (leverage), extend reach, and provide better angles when serving.

Hexagon Cross Section
New "Hexagon Cross Section" is for solid feel and nimble maneuverability. By uniting box and triangular shape sections a solid feeling at impact has been realized by providing better head speed and maneuverability.

Super Metal IPS
Super Metal IPS gives the ability to hit back any fast paced balls. Super Metal is 2.5 times heavier than iron and 1.7 times heavier than lead. By loading this metal into both sides of the racquet face increased power and stability are accomplished.

Flex/Torsion Control Shaft
The new technology in the Flex/Torsion Control Shaft is used to produce more powerful shots with solid stability. Memory Titanium which is loaded into the shaft has twice the force of restitution than that of normal graphite. The result is a superior resiliency which converts the torsion into a higher repulsion power that effectively returns the speed of any ball.

Also the front width of the shaft has been wided by 14% compared to conventional racquets. The simultaneous pursuit of greater repulsion power and better maneuverability results in the most solid shots

Dual Power Structure
The new aerodynamically-contoured upper hoop of the frame lowers the air resistance, and allows a sharp swing through. Also it gives the ideal amount of head flex to store the power and hit the ball with maximum speed.

Nano Speed Shaft
Yonex uses a combination of 0.7-nanometer fullerene carbon fibers and 7-micrometer carbon fibers, taking advantage the fullerene fibers' unique ability to form a high-quality molecular bond with the carbon fibers. The Yonex nano-science process concentrates more fibers in the lower third of the head and throat to provide the ideal stiffness for high stability, high repulsion and maximum return of energy to the ball. The new "Matrix C60" construction is used for lightness and higher repulsion power.

F2 Filter Grommet
By combining the specially made metallic power with grommet, the unnecessary vibration and sound at the impact will be reduced, and only the right information will be transformed to your hand to hit the clear shots.
