The Dunlop Black Widow 16 Tennis String Set is a heptagonal shaped mono-filament polyester string that provides excellent bite on the ball. The Dunlop Black Widow is a low-powered string which allows players to swing big while maintaining control and accuracy. The high-tensile copolymer construction make the Black Widow a durable string as well. The Black Widow 16g is a very comfortable co-poly string. The string also has a lot of pop. I have mine on a Wilson Pro. Team FX BLX strung at 55 lbs. Even at cold temperatures 42 degrees, the string still felt pretty good, and still had nice power! The string creates a lot of spins, and is awesome for a backhand slice. Also, this strings DO NOT MOVE!! I highly recommend this strings for added spins, power, and yet still have control. Really a very nice string!
Very good solid consistent string. Supplies ample power and spin control.
This string gives me maximum spin and is really durable.

This is one of the best polyester strings out there. Having been a long time user of Techinfiber X- One Biphase, I shifted to Black Widow (strung at 57 lbs) got much more control over my serve, way better access to spin and no compromise on power, a bit lack of pop at vollies but other than that great experience.
Expected a lot from this string however results are not favorable. I expected a very low power polyester and strung at mid plus I expected no power...go way too much. All my shots went too deep
I did not have a good experience with this string. I bought a reel and stung it up in my Speed MP 16x19 and got maybe 5 or 6 hours of play out of each string job before they broke. Not buying again.
