Polyesters are known to be very rigid strings made for durability, control, and keeping the tension for longer periods of time compared to that of multifilament or synthetics. With all this in mind, it's quite remarkable how well the Head LYNX Tennis String blends all of these characteristics with similar ones found in those previously mentioned.
The new LYNX is great for the aggressive player that likes to stay at the baseline and really rip the ball with power and spin. Thanks to the focus on control, those powerful players can easily swing at their leisure while keeping pinpoint precision. These make winners a far more frequent shot!
However, what makes this string unique is the how lively and comfortable the string can also feel. Those that are used to more rigid polyesters might enjoy the relaxed response the stringbed will output after a shot. This string may be a pleasure for aggressive baseliners but it can be great for those that want to come up to net and add a bit of touch.

They were free with the racquet, would we buy them alone. No.\nNot for us..
The yellow version of this string is by far the best polyester string I have played with. I recommended using this string in a full bed because it has perfect amount of power, great spin, and good feel and control. The only poly I would recommend a full bed of in a players racquet.
I tested this string and must say initial result is great stand out feature is the control. The string lets you swing free somehow, so it feels powerful since this free swinging ups your swing speed and therefore adds power. But it is the control really which creates this. So a great great string for different reasons.
Got these as a prize from a tournament and strung them in my Volkl Scorcher Tour at 52 lbs. They are amazing strings and did everything I wanted them to do! Great spin, good control with a medium firm feel. Lots of action on my serves! However, they lost their edge after about 3 days of hard play.
For a few days had great control and I could swing freely. Seemed to lose tension quickly (I had the black) but I also noticed significant arm and shoulder pain after 2 weeks. Loved them for a few days
Good quality
